Agora Barcelona International School

It is located in Sant Esteve Ses Rovires, 25 kilometres from Barcelona, in a natural setting that retains its full environmental value. The school is known for its educational innovation, high academic performance, and personalised attention to each student’s needs. It offers the national curriculum, the International Baccalaureate, vocational training programmes in Sport and Leisure, and comprehensive programmes in art, music, and sports.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics at Secondary level, planning and delivering lessons in line with the curriculum and the school’s educational approach.
• Design engaging learning activities and experiences that develop mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking.
• Assess and continuously monitor students’ academic progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing appropriate support strategies when needed.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other departments to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience.

Candidate Profile

• University degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or another relevant subject that qualifies the candidate to teach Mathematics.
• C1 level of English or equivalent is required, as lessons are taught entirely in English.
• Master’s Degree in Secondary Education Teacher Training or an equivalent teaching qualification that enables the candidate to teach at Secondary level in Spain.
• Previous experience teaching Mathematics at Secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain mathematical concepts in a clear, practical, and engaging way.
