Job Description
Contribute to groundbreaking research at Dalhousie University as a Mass Spectrometry Analyst. This in-person role focuses on utilizing mass spectrometry for metabolic-immune interaction studies in vaccine response. As a Mass Spectrometry Analyst, you will report to the Research Scientist and be pivotal in using multi-omics analysis to explore how metabolism influences immunity.
Your work will span various models, enhancing translational discoveries within a collaborative network. The role emphasizes the design and execution of LC-MS studies, along with the integration of comprehensive datasets. Key Responsibilities: • Design and execute LC-MS studies for research objectives • Generate and analyze metabolomic and proteomic datasets • Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and samples • Manage biological samples with accurate record-keeping • Contribute to manuscripts and communicate findings effectively Requirements: • Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline • 2-3 years of research experience in metabolomics • Expertise in mass spectrometry and chromatography • Strong knowledge of immunometabolic pathways • Excellent scientific communication and problem-solving skills Leverage your mass spectrometry expertise to advance immunity research at Dalhousie University. #J-18808-Ljbffr
