About the Role: As the Marketing Manager for the Scandinavia region , you will be the creative engine driving GEAโs B2C student recruitment efforts across key European markets. Based out of GEAโs New Delhi office, you will be responsible for building a strong and engaging brand voice that resonates with European students through high-engagement social platforms, localized digital storytelling, paid campaigns, newsletters, and event marketing.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, social media trends, and student-focused communication. Candidates with prior knowledge of the Europe education market, European student mindset, or study-abroad space will be a strong fit for this role. Core Responsibilities: 1.
Social Media Strategy & Management: Lead our presence on social media platforms, ensuring content is trend-aware and engaging. 2. Creative Content Production: Design and produce short-form videos and high-quality creatives (static and carousel) that align with GEA's brand aesthetic. 3. Paid Media Execution: Launch and manage paid campaigns across social channels to drive direct student leads. 4.
Lifecycle Marketing: Craft and execute student-facing newsletters that highlight study-abroad opportunities and regional benefits. 5. Event Marketing & Ops: Manage the digital promotion and operational logistics for regional events and student fairs. 6. Email Marketing: Draft and send regular newsletters to the student database. 7.
Analytics: Track and report on campaign performance. Skills & Requirements: 4โ5 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media marketing, or performance marketing. Experience in international education or the study-abroad sector is a plus.
Proficiency in video editing, both mobile and desktop, along with strong working knowledge of Canva and basic graphic design tools. Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube Shorts, and other student-focused digital ecosystems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience using AI tools for marketing, content automation, social media planning, AI video/image generation, and campaign optimization will be a significant advantage. Experience working in a multicultural or international company environment. Candidates who have studied abroad or have personal exposure to international education will be a great fit for this role.
Understanding of the European student mindset, education trends, and Europe market dynamics will be an added advantage. Training on GEAโs processes and regional strategy will be provided. Prior experience handling Europe-focused campaigns, student recruitment, university marketing, or education-related lead generation will be preferred.
