Overview

In this role you will lead a marketing function within a growing national trainer, shaping strategic marketing to drive business growth and ROI. Youโ€™ll collaborate with Sales, Operations and Leadership to align marketing with commercial goals, while coaching an in-house team and managing agencies. The position offers autonomy at a Head of Marketing level, with emphasis on strategy, data-driven decision making and cross-functional influence to expand market presence.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy aligned with growth targets
  • Lead, coach and develop the in-house marketing team
  • Drive lead generation across service lines with commercially-focused campaigns
  • Align marketing activity with sales objectives and overall business strategy
  • Manage budgets and ensure strong ROI across activities
  • Analyse campaign performance, customer journeys and conversion data to improve results
  • Develop employer branding and recruitment marketing to support growth
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Education to maximise opportunities
  • Identify new markets and growth opportunities to boost brand awareness and engagement
  • Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
  • Oversee external agencies, suppliers and marketing tech as needed
  • Support exhibitions, industry events and stakeholder engagement across the UK
Key requirements
  • Proven senior Marketing Manager or Commercial Marketing experience with strategy and people leadership
  • Track record of delivering measurable commercial growth via marketing
  • Strong understanding of lead generation, funnels, acquisition, conversion and ROI
  • Experience leading and developing marketing teams
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge including SEO, PPC, CRM, marketing automation and analytics
  • Commercially minded with excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Confident in influencing senior stakeholders and presenting strategic recommendations
  • Creative, ambitious and proactive with entrepreneurial problem solving
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with autonomy to challenge ideas
