Position Overview
The Marketing Manager drives brand visibility, customer acquisition, and community engagement for our high-volume Los Angeles flagship destination. This hands-on role owns the daily digital footprint, social media channels, and on-property community events. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the LA culinary and nightlife scene, and turns digital engagement into physical foot traffic.
Key Responsibilities
Digital & Social Media
- Content Strategy: Plan, shoot, and execute daily photo and video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) highlighting food, beverage, atmosphere, and staff.
- Community Management: Oversee all social media channels, respond to guest inquiries, and cultivate relationships with local brand advocates.
- Reputation Management: Monitor and actively manage reviews and listings on Yelp, Google My Business, and OpenTable.
- Email & Digital Campaigns: Build and deploy targeted email newsletters for weekly promotions, seasonal menus, and ticketed happenings.
Events & Community Relations
- Event Promotion: Coordinate marketing timelines and promotional pushes for resident DJs, live music, brand collaborations, and holiday parties.
- On-Site Activation: Attend key venue events and activations to capture real-time social content and manage guest list influencers.
- Local Partnerships: Build alliances with local neighborhood groups, businesses, and tourism partners to drive community foot traffic.
Public Relations & Reporting
- Influencer Relations: Coordinate influencer visits, manage comp-tab budgets, and track resulting reach or reservations.
- Analytics & Growth: Track weekly and monthly metrics (engagement rates, reservation clicks, follower growth) and adjust strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 6+years of marketing experience, ideally within restaurants, bars, nightlife, or hospitality groups.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in mobile video editing, social media scheduling tools, Meta Business Suite, and basic graphic design (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
- Local Insight: Deep familiarity with the Los Angeles dining, beach culture, or nightlife landscape.
- Availability: Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to support on-site events and capture live content
