Schrödinger, a leader in computational chemistry software and services for preclinical drug discovery, is seeking an ambitious, highly driven, and goal-oriented Marketing Development Representative to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods. As a member of our Digital Marketing team, you will drive demand generation by serving as the critical bridge between our marketing initiatives and sales execution. You will be responsible for assisting with campaign execution, maintaining the integrity of lead data, identifying engagement within emerging buying groups, and ensuring inbound lead follow up is prompt and professional.

To be successful in this role, you'll need strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively across our SDR, Account Management, and Marketing teams. Who will love this job: A team-oriented MDR or data-driven strategist with a science background A proactive analyst who enjoys connecting the dots between engagement data and sales opportunities A detail-oriented problem-solver who thrives on data hygiene, audience segmentation, and CRM organization An excellent communicator capable of translating complex engagement signals into actionable insights for the sales team A self-sufficient multi-tasker with fantastic organizational skills who can manage high volumes of data from various marketing channels What you'll do: Manage and clean inbound lead lists from webinars, conferences, and digital form fills to ensure data accuracy and readiness for sales outreach Enhance CRM data quality to allow for high-precision email and digital ad targeting across specific scientific personas and industries Monitor engagement signals to discover and map emerging buying group interest within target accounts, identifying opportunities before a formal sales request is made Partner with the Sales Development team to provide "hot lists" and account intelligence for upcoming events and marketing campaigns Monitor the transition of marketing-engaged leads to the sales team, ensuring no prospect falls through the cracks and feedback loops remain open Extensively track account engagement, enrich contact profiles, and maintain the "source of truth" for all marketing-generated interest Ensure the correct accounts and contacts are targeted and captured during industry conferences and Schrödinger-led webinars What you should have: Bachelor's in Marketing, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline One to two years of relevant work experience; experience in marketing operations, sales development, or data management in a scientific software environment is preferred Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms and an understanding of lead-to-revenue workflows Pay and perks: Schrödinger understands it's people that make a company great. Estimated base salary range: $65,000 to $80,000. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs.
