Manufacturing Technician FPI Rework 2nd Shift 2:00pm to 10:00pm (P)

A Snapshot of Your Day In this role, you'll be using hand tools and measuring devices to determine parts quality, following quality procedures and policies in the Gibsonton Florida Location. How You'll Make an Impact Set up, troubleshoot, and operate testing equipment on castings using FPI rework tools. Will work in an environment that utilizes UV light inspection devices.

Monitor and maintain good documentation practices, adjust machines, set controls, and perform troubleshooting as required by quality criteria. Clean and maintain equipment for organization and safety and continuously perform improvement analysis assisting on tooling setups and changeovers. Use hand tools, including Die grinders, abrasive tool belts, grinders, files, and measuring devices.

Other duties may be assigned, and cross-training as needed. What You Bring Evidence of a complete High School or GED is required. 1 year of experience using hand tools is preferred. Experience with Inspection Equipment (calipers, pin gauges, etc.) using the metric system and able to perform math functions, read/comprehend Engineering instructions, and mechanical attitude.

A background in plastics, metal castings, and manufacturing settings is a plus. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.

Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
