Job Description Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a Manufacturing Program Manager to lead the launch of a new product from prototype through full-scale production. This is a hands-on role focused on building and scaling manufacturing processes, not a traditional IT or software program management position. You will own the end-to-end manufacturing ramp, including equipment selection, production line setup, and process optimization to achieve target throughput and quality.
This role requires close collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and production teams to ensure the product is designed for manufacturability and successfully scaled. This is a high-visibility opportunity supporting a growth-stage product with significant market potential, requiring a strong leader who can operate with speed, ownership, and technical confidence. Key Responsibilities - Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts from prototype through production ramp - Define and implement manufacturing processes, workflows, and production layouts - Evaluate, select, and support installation of production equipment and tooling - Drive process optimization, yield improvement, and cost efficiency initiatives - Partner with engineering to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) - Own program execution from kickoff through production readiness - Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and key milestones - Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations - Serve as a key point of contact for customer program - Communicate program status, risks, and technical constraints clearly Qualifications - 7+ years in manufacturing, NPI, or production program management - Experience transitioning products from prototype to production - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows - Cross-functional collaboration experience - Ability to evaluate throughput and production efficiency - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field Preferred Qualifications - Aerospace, electronics, or medical device experience - Lean / Six Sigma certification - Production line setup and equipment selection experience - Familiarity with GD&T and quality standards - Customer-facing experience Company Description PrideStaff is a national staffing organization, delivering innovative solutions to the challenges employers face every day.
