Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Manchester, UK Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 Overview: Proactive and hands-on Manufacturing Engineer supporting production efficiency and process improvement. Work closely with production and engineering teams to optimise manufacturing processes and output. Help drive continuous improvement and ensure safe, cost-effective, and high-quality operations Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and workflows Identify inefficiencies and introduce solutions to enhance productivity and reduce waste Support new product introduction (NPI) and ensure smooth transition into production Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support to shop floor teams Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to improve overall performance Ensure processes comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements Requirements: Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience) Experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methods (e.g.

Lean) Ability to analyse data and solve technical problems effectively Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Familiarity with CAD or manufacturing systems is advantageous
