We are currently recruiting Manufacturing Engineers to support one of our customers. The contract is outside of IR35, and the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to our client and will be expected to be proactive and self-motivated in delivering the targeted outputs to support the product. This role will involve the Manufacturing Engineer to be based at the Client's office and will report directly to the Unit Delivery Leader (UDL). Working within the ME team. Successful candidates will join our experienced team, with whom you will work on varied projects in high-tech and future-oriented environment. Responsibilities Produce Engineering outputs to meet on-target delivery dates and Quality requirements Ensure Right First Time is met in-line with Business KPIs Create, manage and implement Change requests where required Be involved with continuous improvement process & offer improvement suggestions Interface with external stakeholders to understand technical issues / specifications Liaise with and support design and manufacturing supply chain Support existing manufacturing systems including test equipment and new product introduction Support the industrial validation process using PFMEAs & other process proving activities The role will be to develop & manage current production processes to improve Quality, Cost & Time measures Attend reviews (both internal and external) where required Working in accordance with Expleo QMS and customer quality requirements Qualifications Engineering degree, or equivalent experience, with proven practical engineering & manufacturing knowledge. Essential skills Proactive Team Player with a focus on delivery and quality who can work and act autonomously Ability to liaise at all levels of the business management structure Excellent communication skills and decision maker Have good written and verbal communication skills and be capable of making sound technical judgements and appropriate decisions Practical problem solving and communication skills Assertiveness, independent, structured way of working and the ability to find oneself in a multicultural working environment Experience Experience of Manufacturing Processes and standards Professional experience in a manufacturing environment Aerospace experience preferable Proactive Team Player with a focus on delivery and quality Good communicator who is professional during interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
