About the company

A leading professional services business in Belfast are seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month contract. This is a broad role covering management reporting, budgeting, balance sheet control, month-end, cash flow and wider financial operations. The successful candidate will also work closely with senior stakeholders and wider teams across the business, with strong exposure to an international environment.

Its a brilliant opportunity for a Qualified Accountant looking for a strong package, excellent flexibility and broad experience within a large, well-established organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting
• Supporting senior stakeholders with financial and operational information
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting annual budgeting processes
• Assisting with audited financial statements
• Leading standard month-end processes
• Cash flow and banking activities
• Involvement across accounts payable, invoicing and wider finance operations
• Working closely with teams across the wider business

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong Excel and IT skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Professional services or shared services experience would be advantageous
