Managing Director, Construction Disputes and Advisory About the Company Respected provider of construction services Industry Construction Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Managing Director to spearhead the growth of its Construction Disputes practice. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in the disputes and claims community, capable of driving revenue, and building and maintaining client relationships. Key responsibilities for this role include leading and expanding the practice in the areas of delay analysis, quantum/damages, and expert advisory services for high-value, complex construction and infrastructure matters.
The role also involves overseeing expert analysis, preparing and reviewing expert reports, and serving as a testifying expert in arbitration and litigation. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in construction disputes, with a focus on delay analysis, damages quantification, or forensic scheduling. A strong understanding of CPM scheduling, as-planned vs. as-built, and related methodologies is essential, as is a deep knowledge of cost and quantum principles.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field, and a proven ability to manage teams, client portfolios, and P&L. An established network within the disputes consulting and construction law sectors is also a key qualification for this senior role.
