We’re looking for a detail orientated, mission-driven leader to direct the operations of the organization, ensure we achieve our objectives, align resources, and support the team through daily management. You will lead the execution of an organization that is running after socio-economic mobility for our neighbors through a client-centered, faith-based, data-driven approach.
The Managing Director will be accountable for the total success of CityLink Center, managing daily operations, and responsible driving the organization’s outcomes, financial sustainability, and team in order to ensure we actively fulfill our mission. The core of the job is driving operational excellence.
The Managing Director (Integrator in EOS framework) is responsible for leading the execution of the vision and mission, under the direction of the CEO. The role will lead and supervise the execution of CityLink Center including managing the leadership team, partnerships, fundraising, facility development, program integration/collaboration, and the oversight of all resources.
The Managing Director will work with the CEO and leadership team to bring to life and infuse the organization with the Vision, Mission, Statement of Faith, Core Values and Metrics. The Managing Director will work closely with the CEO for guidance and accountability in achieving the goals of the organization.

What You’ll Do
Operations Management
- Execute the annual plan, achieving or exceeding programmatic goals and financial objectives.
- Integrates all major operating functions across the organization.
- Collaborates with the CEO to filter and translate ideas and vision into functional plans.
Team Leadership
- Leads, manages, and holds the leadership team accountable for achieving commitments.
- Aligns resources, addresses opportunities, and maintains traction toward objectives.
- Relentless pursuit of values alignment, focus, clarity, and execution.
Issue Resolution And Continuous Improvement
- Resolves issues and obstacles effectively, addressing challenges and keeping teams on track.
- Adeptly identify root issues, manage complexity, address and solve problems in a practical and healthy manner.
Organizational Design And Development
- Responsible for management and improvement of organization model and operating system.
- Drive staff decisions including job description, hiring, management, and adjustments.
- Support staff development as group and individuals for on‑going growth and capacity building.
- Support annual review process for staff cascading individual goal setting and management.
Organization Administration
- Lead budget formulation and overall financial management for the center.
- Drive economic efficiency, searching for ways to maximize social impact for dollars expended.
- Responsible for managing financial sustainability including donor relations and fundraising.
- Oversee financial compliance, supporting audit and accounting practices.
What You’ll Manage
Program Development
- Support continuous improvement of program model to deliver desired services to clients.
- Support program goals, partners, maintain agreements, and manage on‑going relationships to drive outcomes through utilization of Resident, Visiting and Referral Partners.
Volunteer Engagement
- Support systems and infrastructure to mobilize and engage volunteers to advance the mission.
- Support continuous improvement in scale and scope of volunteer engagement.
Spiritual Development
- Support systems/culture that stewards spiritual development for clients, volunteers and staff
- Support and sustain strong working relationship with churches throughout city and region.
Community Engagement
- Steward CityLink’s brand and reputation in the community.
- Support opportunities to share the story of the center, drive awareness and resources to center.
- Build positive relationships with key constituents in the Greater Cincinnati Region.
Infrastructure Management
- Support the direction and decisions regarding facility management and capital expenditure.
- Support design and implementation of IT Systems to support people and processes at center.
- Support the vendor management and procurement strategy for the center.
What You Bring
Experience
- Proven experience in operational role, executing strategy on a large scale.
- Systems thinking with proven ability to maximize partnership and resources for results.
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree.
- Success in mobilizing resources to achieve goals.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience leading teams.
