Job Description Are you looking for an exciting opportunity with a rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturer? If so, then this is the opportunity for you! This position will lead and facilitate work teams across Receiving, Storing, Picking, Packing and Shipping for the 11:00 am – 7:30 pm shift.

This role is responsible for inventory management and recordkeeping for supplies, components, product intermediates and finished goods in support of pharmaceutical and biological production and distribution operations. The Manager will protect and control company assets, ensure efficient utilization to meet customer needs, and maintain a safe, secure, clean and high‑quality operating area that is inspection ready at all times. This role requires weekend and after‑hours coverage as needed to support operational demands.

Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop high‑performing warehouse teams supporting Receiving, Storing, Picking, Packing and Shipping for the assigned shift. Provide support for receipt and shipment of materials (domestic and international), including coordination of shipments/export of bulk, intermediate and finished product and waste. Ensure safe and compliant adherence to cGMPs and other regulatory requirements, including OSHA, TSA, DOT, IATA and environmental regulations for hazardous and non‑hazardous substances.

Develop and disseminate SAP expertise for order creation/management, small parcel and shipping processes; support material handling and distribution/logistics activities. Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor; coach teams in Lean principles and best practices. Collaborate closely with site and above‑site customers and stakeholders to ensure success across all value streams.

Participate in EHS and Quality risk assessments to proactively identify operational risks and recommend mitigation action plans. Lead safety investigations and establish corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence; report incidents and near misses within 24 hours and participate in investigations. Maintain shop floor adherence to Quality and Compliance requirements and ensure readiness for audits and inspections.

Instill a “Right First Time” mindset to ensure all documentation and records are GMP compliant. Manage training and competency for all operators; ensure staff receive appropriate training for assigned tasks. Oversee team performance management; provide coaching, feedback and development to meet performance expectations.

Lead tier meetings and functional team meetings; ensure effective communication and handover between shifts and elevate operational issues as needed. Maintain facility housekeeping and communicate repair needs to Engineering/Maintenance/Utilities (EMU). Ensure availability and correct utilization of tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.

Support profit plan targets and drive cost‑effective operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma/GED with five years’ experience in the vaccine, pharmaceutical, food or equivalent industry OR Bachelor’s degree with three years’ experience in the vaccine, pharmaceutical, food or equivalent industry.

Minimum two (2)+ years demonstrated successful coaching/supervisory experience. Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) or equivalent regulations. Ability to prioritize, focus on, and obtain results in a dynamic environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP and warehouse management systems. Demonstrated experience interacting with site, divisional or regulatory audits. Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills; proven ability to coach and develop work teams, provide training, motivate/empower others and resolve conflict.

Proven ability to balance workload, prioritize multiple high‑priority activities, manage complexity and ambiguity, and deliver results. Experience managing in a union environment. Lean manufacturing experience and continuous improvement certifications desired.

Working Conditions Warehouse environment with exposure to materials handling equipment and routine use of personal protective equipment. Shift: 11:00 am – 7:30 pm. This role requires weekend and after‑hours coverage as needed to support operational demands.

Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $96,200.00 – $151,400.00. The successful candidate will be eligible for an annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits.
