We are looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Manager overseeing our warehouse operations located in South Vancouver. This position will be responsible for managing employees? performances, improving warehouse efficiencies, providing supervision in our operations including inbound receiving, outbound order fulfillment, inventory control, shipping, and production. This role involves leading a team of 20 to 30 people and working closely with other internal and external parties.

Key Responsibilities



  • Building and maintaining a strong team that works together in a positive, collaborative culture.

  • Providing coaching, training, and supervision of a team of 20 - 30 warehouse associates to maintain high performance and morale.

  • Providing regular feedback to team members on their performance, offering guidance and support.

  • Leading warehouse hiring, human resources and performance improvement.

  • Working hands on your team, e.g. training, onboarding, and supporting their work.

  • Stepping in when needed to by performing daily tasks, which can include picking and packing orders, production and packaging work, and restocking.

  • Serving as the primary liaison to other departments, including customer service and procurement.

  • Overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure results are delivered, including orders being shipped accurately and on time.

  • Identifying opportunities to continuously improve KPIs and warehouse efficiencies through working closely with the Operations Manager to develop and improve processes and planning.

  • Having a full understanding of all functionality and roles in the warehouse (from receiving and inventory control to order fulfillment and shipments)

  • Coordinating deliveries and regularly communicating with our US warehouse and 3PLs.

  • Leading safety policies and practices within the warehouse.

  • Participating in the Joint Health & Safety Committee.

  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.

  • Monitoring supplies and direct replenishment efforts as needed.

  • Performing any other duties as assigned by the superior.

  • Must be hands on working with the team together, able to move, climb and lift up to 50lbs.

  • Certification in Forklift & Electric Pallet Jack and Workplace First Aid is an asset.


Knowledge, Skill & Ability



  • At least 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Manager within a warehouse setting.

  • Strong leadership skills, capable to lead and motivate a team to achieve common goals.

  • Strong management skills, competent to manage employee issues and handle tough conversations timely, clearly, and independently.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments in a respectful and collaborative manner.

  • Possess solid and hands-on experience in managing in a warehouse operation and implementing data-driven continuous improvement processes.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

  • Possess a solid understanding of inventory control and order flow.


Additional Recommended Experience and Skills



  • Experience working with continuous improvement and project management.

  • Education in logistics or supply chain management.

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP.

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now Time and Attendance module.

  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and G Suite.


Base Pay



  • Location Vancouver , BC

  • Work location On site

  • Salary $ 70,000 to $ 77,000 YEAR annually
