*Position Summary:* We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the daily operations of our North Vancouver warehouse. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for ensuring the warehouse operates safely, efficiently, and accurately while delivering exceptional service to our customers. The Warehouse Manager will oversee receiving, inventory control, order fulfilment, shipping, warehouse organization, and the development of the warehouse team.
Working closely with Leadership, Purchasing and Sales, this role ensures customer orders are shipped accurately and on time while continually improving warehouse processes and performance. The successful candidate will be a strong leader who enjoys working alongside the team, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day operation of the warehouse team.
- Plan and prioritize daily workflow to meet customer delivery commitments.
- Ensure customer orders are picked, packed and shipped accurately and on time.
- Receive, inspect and organize incoming inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counting and stock control.
- Coordinate courier and freight shipments.
- Monitor warehouse productivity and remove operational bottlenecks.
- Develop, coach and support warehouse employees.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and operated safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse.
- Assist with walk‑in customer orders and collections when required.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate reverse logistics including customer returns and supplier returns.
- Work closely with Customer Service and Purchasing to resolve inventory and shipping issues.
- Develop and improve warehouse procedures to increase efficiency.
- Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience in shipping, receiving and inventory control.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Forklift certification or previous forklift experience preferred.
- Computer experience with inventory or ERP systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
