Manager/ Sr. Manager - Interior Design

Role Purpose The incumbent will be responsible for leading the team responsible for designing stores for V-Mart across India. The role focuses on creating customer-friendly retail environments, ensuring brand consistency, optimizing store layouts, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for timely store launches and renovations. Key Responsibilities Team and Stakeholder Management Manage projects design team Work closely with internal and external stakeholders VM (Visual Merchandising) teams Projects Commercial Team Projects Execution Team Projects vendors Landlords & their appointed vendors Store Design & Planning Develop innovative and cost-effective interior design concepts for new stores, renovations, and store upgrades. Prepare store layouts, space planning, fixture placement plans, elevations, and detailed working drawings. Ensure uniform implementation of V-Mart's brand identity and visual standards across all stores. Optimize store layouts to enhance customer experience, merchandise visibility, and operational efficiency. Project Execution Quality & Cost Management Review drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and construction details before execution. Conduct site visits to monitor quality standards, and compliance with approved designs. Drive value engineering initiatives to achieve cost optimization without compromising quality.

Key Skills and Attributes: Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision, an organized and thorough approach to work Preferred prior experience in AutoCAD architecture, designing and drafting Strong team relationships by working closely with the Project Manager Good organizational, self-management and goal setting skills Ability to manage multiple projects and good understanding of store layout
