Introduction Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI), Innovation and Technology Services Branch, is seeking a strategic and results‑oriented leader to join our team as Manager, Workplace Technology and Operational Support (BA4) .

Reporting to the Director, Innovation and Technology Services, this role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, ensuring reliable and efficient service delivery, and advancing innovative technology solutions that support a diverse, province‑wide workforce. Duties The successful candidate will provide leadership in the planning, implementation, and support of productivity applications and operational systems, while guiding teams, managing vendors, and advising stakeholders to advance innovation and operational excellence. Qualifications A post‑secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Proven leadership in IT service planning, technology procurement or technology management.

Demonstrated experience in project delivery, vendor management, and financial oversight including business cases and budgeting. Experience leading service planning and/or delivery teams, coaching and mentoring and performance management of staff. Experience designing and reporting against performance measures.

Knowledge of emerging technologies and their implications for government service delivery. Experience with IT service level agreements (SLAs) and performance management. Strong political acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Superior written and verbal communication skills. Experience in project management, encompassing risk management, resource allocation, and the development and oversight of project plans and reports. Conditions of Employment Must be legally entitled to work in Canada #J-18808-Ljbffr
