Job Summary Enovis Corporation is an innovation‑driven medical technology growth company dedicated to developing clinically differentiated solutions. We are seeking a Manager, Process Engineering to lead the NPI Manufacturing Engineering group in launching new products and improving manufacturing processes. Job Title: Manager, Process Engineering Reports To: Director, NPI Engineering Location: Austin, Texas Key Responsibilities Lead a team of NPI Manufacturing Engineers and technicians to launch new products.
Serve as the primary process and manufacturing expert on cross‑functional teams for new product introductions. Guide teams to assess process capabilities, prioritize improvement opportunities, and implement innovations. Design, develop, and implement processes, procedures, tooling, and automation.
Execute deliverables associated with CAPA, Project Management, and Quality Systems. Plan, organize, and conduct manufacturing technical reviews. Ensure documentation meets quality system requirements (e.g., BOMs, routers, FMEAs).
Write and review validation protocols and reports for new processes. Oversee development builds using technical work requests. Provide Design for Manufacturability input to engineering print packages.
Convey process and manufacturing limits and capabilities to the development team. Contribute to or generate intellectual property submissions. Train manufacturing personnel as needed during validation.
Participate in lean reviews and Kaizen events. Coach engineers and technicians. Minimum Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in science, BSME, or related engineering field.
Minimum 10 years experience in process or manufacturing engineering. Minimum 3 years experience managing an engineering team. Experience with Measurement Systems (CMMs, vision inspection, profilometers).
Experience with GD&T. Experience with data analysis (Minitab) preferred. Desired Characteristics Experience in medical device manufacturing.
Experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Lean Manufacturing, Process Control, DOE, Process Validation, and FMEA. Proficiency with Problem‑Solving and Process Improvement Methodologies (e.g., 6‑Sigma, DMAIC). Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and MasterCAM.
Master’s degree in engineering and/or experience with metals/plastics machining or additive manufacturing is a plus.
