Duties and Responsibilities Managing assurance and accounting engagements, including the relevant tax filings, with dedicated resources including paperless office infrastructure. Supervising and mentoring junior staff on assurance and accounting engagements.

Identifying and resolving assurance and accounting engagement issues. Developing and maintaining client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Providing insights and advice to clients to support their business goals. Assisting in the development and implementation of best practices within the team. Supporting business development activities to attract new clients and expand service offerings.

Qualifications Progressive Accounting Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in public accounting, coupled with the successful completion of CPA exams. CPA Designation: Possession of a CPA designation, or active progress toward fulfilling the required hours for certification. Management Proficiency: Experience in managing audit and assurance engagements and leading teams.

Client‑Centric Approach: Demonstrated ability to provide value‑added services to clients, with a strong commitment to their success. ASPE Knowledge: Proficiency in Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) requirements is necessary. Software Competence: Experience with Caseware and Taxprep software is highly desirable.

Deadline‑Oriented: Strong understanding of a client‑focused environment, awareness of related deadlines, and the capability to consistently meet them. Confidentiality and Discretion: Sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive matters. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all tasks and responsibilities. Team Player: A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Business Development: Experience in business development activities, focusing on client acquisition and retention.
