The CapEx Category Manager will drive sourcing of CapEx categories and play a key role in developing and executing category strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of CapEx Category Management and consulting expertise to effectively operate within the Infosys Portland ecosystem. The role requires strong problem‑solving, risk mitigation, and adaptability skills.

Job Responsibilities Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across MRO and services categories. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and finance.
Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships for long‑term value creation. Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify sourcing opportunities. Manage RFQs, RFPs, and supplier evaluations.
Lead governance meetings focusing on savings, escalation management, and sourcing projects. Conduct plant visits and stakeholder engagements. Handle escalations and maintain strong client relationships.
Identify and implement transformational sourcing opportunities aligned with business goals. Preferred Qualifications Strong category experience in MRO (Industrial Services, Spare Parts, Utilities, Equipment Rental, etc.). Familiarity with RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and e‑sourcing tools (Coupa, Ariba, etc.).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high‑pressure environment. Experience in manufacturing (food, engineering, or automotive) preferred.
Experience dealing with aggregators is a plus. Fluency in French Canadian is required. Required Qualifications Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec or be willing to relocate to the area.
This position may require travel. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
