If you're passionate about using technology to improve human life, this is where your work truly matters What you will accomplish in this role The Expanse Implementation group is responsible for the development and implementation of HCA’s enterprise-wide initiatives; Electronic Health Record (EHR) Program as well as the expansion of business process and performance related to HCA’s Digital Transformation and Innovation strategies.

The Implementation Manager is a corporate level position that provides operational support in the management and execution of Expanse implementations that have an impact on clinical and operational processes. In addition to the management of team resources, this position also requires field experience, and an understanding of the change management implications of implementing new digital/electronic and operational workflows and processes. This individual will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of implementation resources on the Implementation team, and the project management of high-profile initiatives ranging from programs to enterprise-wide projects.

Responsibilities: Responsible for working with AVP on business case development Responsible for working with Expanse leadership on promoting Employee Engagement Coaches and mentors staff in the execution of their responsibilities with the aim of establishing them as Implementation Specialists working toward a common goal Works with the staff to set personal goals and project goals and to review and evaluate their actual performance, including all aspects of human resource management within their team Provide coordination and support and serve as a consultant to the facility and division teams implementing information systems Conducts comprehensive project and support work status reviews Communicates appropriate status and outcomes with CSG Management, Division Teams and Business Owners to provide timely and accurate information and status updates, along with issue and risk management Manage issue gathering/definition, fact finding and resolution process for the implementation teams Set priorities for team tasks and activities Ensures communication between the project teams, the physicians and all of the affected departments during implementation Facilitate effective communications among all team members to ensure comprehensive understanding of needs, expectations and requirements Evaluate the effectiveness of implementation strategies and materials and implement changes Evaluate project and issue management processes to identify functional gaps and research potential solutions Collaborate with IT&S in the definition and development of project timelines, business cases, and implementation strategy Collaborate with EHR Clinical Implementation Leads to manage multiple, large-scale implementations Continues to build and strengthen partnerships among CSG, IT&S, Physician Services, Internal Audit, etc. Escalates to and collaborates with Program Directors on project progress, issues and risks to identify next steps, solutions, etc. Qualifications you will need: Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of experience in large-scale implementations required 2+ years of management/people management experience required Ability to travel up to 76% At HCA Healthcare, we are committed to fostering a culture of growth that allows you to build the career of a lifetime.
