• The Manager, Financial Reporting and Accounting Systems oversees financial reporting and system management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate accounting and process changes into technical solutions, enhancing organizational efficiency.


• Maintain governance over financial structures, including chart of accounts and income categories, ensuring compliance and accuracy.


• Develop and maintain financial reports for internal and external distribution, including quarterly board books and supplemental materials.


• Identify and implement automation opportunities and process improvements to streamline workflows and strengthen internal controls.


• Partner with innovation and technology teams to address business challenges and prioritize system-driven solutions.


• Investigate and implement artificial intelligence solutions to enhance business processes and controllership.


• Support system testing, upgrades, and user acceptance testing in collaboration with technology teams.


• Work independently with urgency while fostering strong team collaboration and communication.

Manager, Financial Reporting and Accounting Systems Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field required.


• CPA or CMA certification preferred, demonstrating advanced accounting expertise.


• Minimum of 4 years of experience, with 8 years preferred, in financial reporting and systems management.


• Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and experience with MRI software is advantageous.


• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and financial reporting tools.


• Experience with SQL and database management, enhancing data analysis capabilities.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.


• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
