Senior Manager / Director with Unclaimed Property Experience (Narberth, PA) Compensation: commensurate with experience Employment type: full-time Specialty Audit Services, LLC ("SAS"), is a forensic auditing firm that provides consulting services exclusively to state governments. Responsibilities Sharing expertise within escheat/unclaimed property auditing. Providing accounting‑focused solutions to unclaimed property problems that complement the skills of legal staff. Developing examination policies and procedures by property type.

Anticipating and guarding the firm against legal risks by making educated decisions. Guiding manager auditors. Ensuring compliance with statutes, rules, and regulations for our client states.

Reviewing work completed by managers, ensuring all issues are noted and resolved. Reviewing source documents to ensure correct processing of all pertinent information in our possession. The ideal candidate must be thorough and detail oriented, possess the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing, manage multiple tasks, and have the ability to work well both within a team environment and independently.

College degree and prior experience in Unclaimed Property is required. An accounting or finance degree is preferred. Travel within the United States will be minimally required.

Applicants should be legally permitted to work in the United States. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree and with 8-15 years' experience in Unclaimed Property; Master’s Degree (or similar) preferred but not required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS Knowledgeable with accounting‑related issues affecting property types relevant for Unclaimed Property including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, royalties, gift cards, rebates, etc. Experience with securities‑related property is preferred but not required.

Able to provide guidance regarding processing source documents and reviewing supporting documentation. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Effective interpersonal skills.

Able to prioritize multiple projects. Ability to work well under timelines, meeting deadlines consistently. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Computer skills: A sophisticated user of the Microsoft suite of products. #J-18808-Ljbffr
