We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Data and Analytics.

In this role, you will: Execute various analyses and develop strategies to support business decisions across the customer lifecycle for a particular product/market. Provide support for analytical/strategy projects. Complete analysis as required and document results and present findings to stakeholders Execute moderate to complex analysis and strategy with proper instructions.

Write efficient codes to process data for the required business problems. Ability to convert business problems to an analytical problem. Identify business problems/new opportunities to drive higher business value.

Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex analytical problems. Providing high-quality analysis and strategy recommendations to business problems. Manage delivery within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards.

Also drive business benefit through self-initiated projects. Learn new skills (domain / technical) and apply to solve business problems as required. Strict adherence to the HSBC Core Values.

Understanding of the US fraud landscape to drive initiatives around the Application Fraud, Account Takeover Fraud, Transactions Fraud and Payment Fraud among others. Build Fraud mitigation models across products, journeys with specific focus on key fraud typologies leveraging comprehensive internal and external data sources. Land, calibrate and integrate analytics capabilities of new fraud mitigation solutions to intercept fraudulent behaviour on transactions, application and servicing journeys in real-time.

Constantly monitor fraud strategies to optimize performance and keep detect rates and false positive rate within acceptable range. Help the Process-lead to establish Fraud Analytics Optimization as a discipline within the IWPB community. To be successful you will: 3+ years of hands-on analytics experience solving complex data and business intelligence problems.

Strong analytical skills with business analysis experience or equivalent. In-depth knowledge and understanding of data modelling and BI visualization. Strong and independent project management skills.

Ability to confidently interact with senior management and communicate and synthesize information in a simple form. BI & visualization tools experience on LookML scripting/Looker Dashboard development Scripting knowledge in SQL/Big Query or Python. Strong visualization, Dashboarding and storytelling.

Advance knowledge of excel. Contact Centre industry/WFM knowledge. Basic understanding of GCP.

Good to have ETL/python scripting knowledge. Knowledge on JIRA and Confluence Banking Products knowledge. VBA, Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform for managing large dataset and designing relational and dimensional data models for BI Master’s Degree / PH.

D (or relevant work experience) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or any other quantitative discipline. Overall Analytics experience of atleast 2-5 years. Domain experience in financial crime and Risk would be an advantage (Fraud, Anti Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Sanctions).

Experience in one or more of the following tools: SAS, Python, Spark, SQL, Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Strong analytical & business acumen.
