Position Summary Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the role of Manager, Business Analytics in Austin, TX. This role focuses on designing healthcare‑related applications that support the development of analytical insights to inform and guide business decisions. Key responsibilities include: Designing applications for requirement gathering, database design, development, unit testing, performance testing and QA testing support activities.
Developing, validating and executing algorithms and predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions. Determining analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes. Implementing automation of manual processes for both new and legacy systems.
Designing, extracting, and developing ETL workflows and datasets using various technologies and reporting tools. Developing data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data that help generate insights and address business reporting needs. Developing applications using Python and its core libraries.
Designing complex reports using ORACLE SQL or similar server databases. Liaising with outside IT consultants and other third‑party contractors to ensure business requests are completed on time. Qualifications Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and at least two years of experience in a related occupation.
At least two years of experience in each of the following: GIT, Java, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Agile methodologies; Oracle, JIRA, MySQL, or SQL; relational database concepts; software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases; and working with UI/UX teams to develop wireframes and prototypes based on end‑user feedback and human‑centered design. Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $114,754.00/year to $132,600.00/year. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
The position is eligible for a bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program, plus an award target in the company’s equity award program.
