We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Multi-Craft Controls) for multiple shifts to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of highly automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
This is a hands-on role for someone with strong electrical aptitude who enjoys diagnosing complex equipment issues and working with advanced automation systems. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial electrical systems, PLCs, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment. Individuals selected for this opportunity will play a key role in supporting new equipment installations and may help train future maintenance technicians as operations expand.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment to maximize uptime and equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, and automated manufacturing systems.
- Diagnose electrical control issues using schematics, meters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshoot, modify, and support PLC-controlled equipment.
- Assist with the installation, startup, commissioning, and optimization of new manufacturing equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Develop and improve preventive maintenance procedures to increase equipment performance and reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and maintenance processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve equipment issues and improve manufacturing operations.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair industrial electrical and control systems.
- Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, robotics, motors, sensors, drives, electrical controls, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience using CMMS software to document maintenance activities.
- Multi-craft industrial maintenance experience.
- PLC troubleshooting and programming experience.
- Experience in highly automated manufacturing environments.
