- Complete resident service requests accurately and efficiently
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, painting, and carpentry issues
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
- Prepare apartments for new residents by completing high-quality apartment turns
- Maintain the appearance and functionality of common areas, amenities, and grounds
- Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as part of the on-call rotation
- Accurately document completed work orders and communicate with residents regarding repairs
- Maintain maintenance inventory, equipment, and shop organization
- Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies
- Work closely with the property management team to deliver an outstanding resident experience
- Service requests are completed promptly and correctly
- Apartment homes are move-in ready when promised
- Preventative maintenance minimizes unexpected repairs
- Residents receive friendly, professional service
- The community remains clean, safe, and well maintained throughout the year
- Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
- EPA Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general carpentry
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Enjoy troubleshooting and fixing problems the right way
