Maintenance Technician

Based in Livingston, the PPM Case Clean Technician works night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, 8:00pm to 5:00am, totalling 45 hours weekly. Pay is £13.22 per hour on a full-time contract.

Duties include planned preventative maintenance and deep cleaning of commercial refrigeration cabinets at supermarket and retail sites across Scotland, so travel is required and a driving licence is essential.

Tasks cover inspecting components, spotting refrigerant leaks, completing F-Gas checks and improving airflow.

Prior refrigeration experience helps but is not necessary, since full training is given. Reliability and a willingness to learn suit this hands-on position.

Location: West Lothian, with travel throughout Scotland. Driving Licence essential. Our client is looking for reliable and motivated Refrigeration Maintenance Technicians to join their growing team, carrying out PPM and deep-clean maintenance on commercial refrigeration cabinets across major supermarket and retail sites throughout Scotland.

Previous refrigeration experience is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided.

The Role

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on refrigeration cabinets
• Deep cleaning and maintaining refrigeration components
• Identifying refrigerant leaks and carrying out F-Gas checks
• Optimising airflow within refrigeration cabinets
• Condensate drain maintenance
• Inspecting and reporting on cabinet condition
• Completing maintenance records and following company procedures
• Carrying out additional PPM tasks as required

Essential

• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel throughout Scotland
• Ability to work Sunday to Thursday night shifts
