Maintenance Technician Nigh Shift

Our client is a leader in the design and manufacturing of windows, doors, shower screens, wardrobes and related products.

Frontline is currently seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician for our client based out in Rowville. You will need to be available for training on day shift for approx. 2-4 weeks 6am - 2pm then move to a 10pm to 6am Night Shift.

• Great hourly rates $87.85 Per hour
• Work Nigh shift - casual onging work

Your daily duties will consist of:

• Inspect machinery and mechanical systems for signs of wear or malfunction
• Diagnose mechanical issues or breakdowns
• Repair or replace faulty components such as belts, chains, bearings, seals, pumps, and valves
• Start up and test machinery after maintenance
• Liaise with production staff and supervisors regarding equipment performance
• Diagnose mechanical issues or breakdowns
• Other fitter related tasks

Essential skills and experience:

• Preferably min. 2 years experience in manufacturing environment / machinery break downs
• Attending breakdowns, fault finding
• Understanding of critical PM's and their importance
• Welding / machining / fabrication
• Ability to read and understand pneumatic / hydraulic drawings
• Reliable and punctual

Qualifications required:

• Completed apprenticeship as a Fitter and Turner in a manufacturing environment. Ideally 2+ years' experience after being qualified.
• Maintenanace Technician Preferably Electrician, but fitter with electrical knowledge reconnect / disconnect license would be strongly considered)
• A trade qualification for an electrician is imperative
