Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for aMaintenance Technician to join the Maintenance team, reporting to theFacilities & Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring factory equipment is maintained to the highest possible standards, with a strong focus on safety, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. This is an initial 6 mth contract role Key Responsibilities Carry out machine maintenance in line with scheduled maintenance plans.

Complete preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner and to the required standards. Install and relocate machinery and equipment when required. Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance across the company.

Maintain dryers and compressors. Respond to emergency maintenance requirements and machine breakdowns. Identify, order through the Purchasing Department and fit spare parts.

Maintain stocks of critical machine and business spare parts. Follow established work instructions and SOPs. Requirements Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Automation, or equivalent experience, is preferred.

Previous troubleshooring experience within a manug=facturing environment Experience with documentation and maintenance systems. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
