General Description:

Reportingto the Director of Maintenance, this position is responsible for completingroutine maintenance tasks, responding to work orders, performing preventativemaintenance, and assisting with repairs throughout the property.

The successful candidate will be a dependable, hands-on individual who enjoys working in a team environment andtakes pride in maintaining a safe and well-kept property.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Required

• High school diploma orequivalent
• Previous experience inmaintenance, construction, landscaping, property maintenance, or a relatedfield
• Basic knowledge of buildingmaintenance and repair practices
• Ability to safely operatehand and power tools
• Strong work ethic andattention to detail
• Ability to workindependently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift, carry, andmove materials and equipment
• Valid driver's license

Assets

• Experience in a hotel,resort, or hospitality environment
• Experience performingpreventative maintenance
• Knowledge of basicplumbing, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical repair
• Experience with poolchemical handling and maintenance
• Experience with HVACsystems

Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned maintenance work ordersand service requests
• Perform routine preventative maintenance onbuildings, equipment, and facilities
• Assist with basic repairs, installations,and maintenance projects
• Conduct regular inspections of resortfacilities and report deficiencies
• Assist with room maintenance andpreparation of guest accommodations
• Maintain exterior areas, walkways, andgrounds as required
• Support seasonal property maintenanceactivities
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areasin a safe and organized condition
• Follow all workplace health and safetyprocedures
• Assist other members of the Maintenanceteam as required
