The Role

We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Birr site in Co. Offaly. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient mechanical and electrical operation of our commercial laundry production facility.

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance of all plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard
• Provide reactive maintenance and fault-finding on plant and production equipment
• Work closely with production management to prioritise maintenance tasks and minimise downtime
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and efficiently to support continuous production
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up to date in line with ISO standards.
• Work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating the ability to work on your own initiative

What We're Looking For

• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance (industrial or manufacturing environment preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach

Working Hours

Afternoon shift: 2pm - 10pm, with flexibility required
