Job Description
AWS/CES is hiring for a Maintenance Technician Location: Warren, MI 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | $32.26/hour
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | $33.26/hour Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Repair
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment. Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic repairs. Repair electrical circuits up to 110 volts.
Complete equipment rebuilds and refurbishments. Preventive Maintenance Perform scheduled PMs.
Recommend improvements to PM programs. Complete PM work orders. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
Read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Use precision measuring instruments and diagnostic equipment. Maintain equipment within manufacturing tolerances.
Continuous Improvement Support equipment upgrades and installations. Recommend process improvements and spare parts.
Assist with production line improvements. Safety & Compliance Follow OSHA regulations and LOTO procedures.
Maintain a clean work area. Complete work according to company standards. Qualifications
Journeyman's Card or equivalent experience. High School Diploma or GED. Ability to pass Maintenance Technician aptitude test.
Strong troubleshooting experience with: Mechanical systems Electrical systems
Hydraulic systems Pneumatic systems Robotic equipment
Industrial machinery Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
