Job Description Maintenance Mechanic Vancouver, WA Compensation Includes Starting pay rate $36.75 - 39.30/hour Available Shift This position is available on a night shift working Sunday to Wednesday then Saturday to Tuesday from 9:00pm to 7:00am . The successful candidate must be able to train for at least 2 months on our Day shift which works Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm .

Please note, a $1.00 per hour shift differential is applied to all hours worked between 3:00pm and 6:59am the following day. Responsibilities Perform various activities on equipment and machines including reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work; Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems; Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs; Lubricate or apply other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures; Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications; Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance; Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools.
