Maintenance Engineer (Mobile)

Location: Wales (Based from HMP Cardiff – covering regional sites) Contract: Permanent | Full-time 39 hours per week (08:00–17:00) + 1 in 4 weekends (15% shift allowance) Salary: £30,231 – £33,381 + extra payments for additional skills + van & fuel card Build a varied and secure career on the move Looking for a role where no two days are the same? What you’ll be doing Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites Supporting a range of building systems and compliance tasks Acting as an Authorised Person (training provided) Following safety and security procedures Taking part in an on-call and weekend rota You’ll work across a small number of sites, giving you variety without excessive travel. What we’re looking for Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and use initiative Basic health & safety and IT awareness Experience in areas such as fire safety, emergency lighting, water checks or general compliance would be beneficial—but not essential.
