ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and maintain all hotel facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation of equipment and infrastructure.
Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely and effective repairs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance work.
Support daily operations by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Assist in planning and managing maintenance budgets and resource allocation.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role within hospitality or a similar environment.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of safety standards and maintenance best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
Professional, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
Fluency in English and French; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
