Greetings, TCS is looking for Mainframe Developer Experience: 4- 8 Years Education: Minimum 15 years of fulltime education (10th, 12th and Graduation) Location: Bangalore/ Chennai / Mumbai/ Hyderabad/ Gurgoan. Technical Skills : Key responsibilities Please find a brief description of the role (Mainframe Developer): Work as part of DevOps Scrum team and be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining Mainframe applications. Responsible for development in COBOL,DB2,JCL,VSAM , IMS, z/OS connect Responsible for supporting the implementation of mainframe changes and post implementation support. Designing and developing high volume, low latency applications for mission critical systems and delivering high availability and performance. Contributing in all phases of development cycle Key Skills/Knowledge: Hands on experience in programming using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMS Knowledge of batch and online programming. Knowledge of using mainframe tools like SPUFI, QMF, Tivoli scheduler, File manager, version control tools Knowledge of REXX, Z/OS connect is an additional preference. Knowledge of Transaction processing is an additional preference. Experience with Agile way of working.
