Pay rate: $17.00-$25.00 hourly

Working schedule: 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:00pm


Job Title: Machine Operator โ€“ Ice Cream Manufacturing (Bilingual)



Job Summary

We are seeking four experienced Bilingual Machine Operators with a background in ice cream manufacturing or cold food production environments. The ideal candidates are fully bilingual in English and Spanish, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in cold temperatures. Operators will train on first shift and transition to an open second shift role once training is successfully completed.



Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust ice cream production machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation

  • Set up machines for production runs, including changeovers, start-ups, and shutdowns

  • Monitor product quality, weight, temperature, and consistency throughout production

  • Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of equipment

  • Follow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards

  • Accurately complete production documentation and logs

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members in English and Spanish

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Work in cold or freezer environments for extended periods


Required Qualifications

  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written communication required)

  • Minimum 1โ€“2 years of machine operating experience in food manufacturing

  • Experience in ice cream production or cold food environments strongly preferred

  • Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols

  • Willingness to train on first shift and transition to second shift after training


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience specifically in ice cream manufacturing

  • Familiarity with automated or semi-automated production equipment

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (GMPs, HACCP, USDA/FDA standards)


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments
