Machine Maintenance Engineer - CNC Bredbury, Greater Manchester Competitive Salary + Shift Allowance + Overtime Available Shifts 2 x Double Days Maintenance Engineers – Early Shift: 05:45 - 14:00 (Mon-Thu), 05:45 - 12:45 (Fri) 2 x Double Days Maintenance Engineers – Late Shift: 13:30 - 21:45 (Mon-Thu), 11:45 - 18:45 (Fri) 1 x Permanent Night Shift Maintenance Engineer – Nights: 20:30 - 06:30 (Mon-Thu) The Company A leading manufacturer is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the appointment of experienced Maintenance Engineers. Working within a fast-paced CNC machining and manufacturing environment, you’ll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime and supporting continuous improvement activities across the site. Key Responsibilities Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support.

Electrical and mechanical fault finding. Maintenance of CNC turning and milling machinery. Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, drives and automated equipment.

Supporting improvement projects and equipment upgrades. Completing maintenance documentation and reports. Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Requirements Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.

Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification. Experience with CNC machinery. PLC fault-finding experience advantageous.
