LPN for School Nursing

A specialized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) opportunity is available in a school setting located in the Naperville and St. Charles, IL areas. This contract role focuses on providing 1:1 nursing care for a student requiring comprehensive medical support during the school day.

Key Responsibilities: Administer approximately eight G-tube feedings daily. Monitor blood glucose levels using the Blue Loop system. Provide diabetic care, including insulin administration and carbohydrate counting.

Support a student with Down Syndrome by addressing their unique health needs with compassion and professionalism. Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with school staff and healthcare providers. Qualifications: Active LPN or LVN license.

Experience in school nursing or pediatric care strongly preferred. Familiarity with G-tube feeding and diabetic management in children. Ability to work independently and adhere to healthcare protocols.
