About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Lorry Driver to join our team for Part-Time. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of all Electrical Goods , ensuring deliveries are completed on time while maintaining high standards of customer service and vehicle care.
Key Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with road traffic regulations. Deliver and collect goods according to planned schedules. Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records. Adhere to health and safety policies at all times.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and customers. Keep vehicles clean and in good working condition. Requirements Valid Category C, C1, or CE Driving Licence (applicants holding any of these licence categories are welcome to apply).
Valid Driver CPC qualification. Digital Tachograph Card. Good knowledge of road transport regulations and driving hours.
Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous driving experience preferred but not essential for suitable candidates.
Desirable Skills Experience in multi-drop deliveries. Forklift or loading/unloading experience. Knowledge of local and national road networks.
