Job Description
The position:
We are looking for a Logistic Analyst to join our team, who will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end management of international logistics operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, process efficiency, and cost control. This role will actively participate in coordinating import and export activities, managing logistics providers, and tracking deliveries, contributing directly to operational continuity and project success.
Main activities and responsabilities:
Import & Export Management
Support and coordinate import and export processes, ensuring proper preparation of customs documentation, regulatory compliance, and shipment tracking.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with customs, tax, and international trade regulations, in coordination with external agents and service providers.
Logistics Procurement & Tendering
Lead tendering processes with logistics providers, customs brokers, and carriers, supporting quotation processes, service follow-up, and contract compliance control.
Cost Tracking & Control
Monitor and analyze logistics costs, review and approve invoices, and coordinate payment requests through internal systems. Prepare periodic cost reports per operation.
Operational Risk Management
Identify potential issues within the logistics chain (delays, documentation errors, customs clearance, etc.) and elevate them in a timely manner for resolution.
Documentation Management
Review key international trade documents (commercial invoice, packing list, BL, certificates, among others), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Last-Mile Delivery Coordination
Support planning and tracking of project deliveries, maintain updated Delivery Plans, manage proofs of delivery, and collaborate with finance on milestone validation.
Specific Knowledge:
- Knowledge of international trade processes (imports and exports)
- Understanding of Incoterms
- Experience with logistics and customs documentation (BL, AWB, invoices, certificates)
- Knowledge of cost control and analysis
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations
- Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, data analysis)
Education and Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Logistics Engineering, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in international logistics or supply chain
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers
- Intermediate English (mandatory)
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to work in dynamic and multicultural environments
