Job Description
LinkedIn Marketing & Lead Generation Assistant
Part-Time and Remote | Flexible Hours (US overlap preferred) | Long-Term Contract
About the Role
Our client, a company entering the packaging/CPG space, is looking for a LinkedIn Marketing & Lead Generation Specialist to build out their brand presence from the ground up and directly drive B2B lead generation through LinkedIn outreach. This role is foundational — you'll be shaping how a new player in a fast-moving, high-value industry introduces itself online, while also proactively connecting with potential customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and write LinkedIn posts to build brand awareness and industry credibility
- Write product and company copy for use across LinkedIn, brochures, and marketing materials
- Proactively reach out to potential prospects on LinkedIn to generate B2B leads
- Translate technical/product concepts into clear, engaging copy for a business audience
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all written content
- Track and follow up on outreach conversations to move leads forward
- Collaborate with the design team to align copy with visual materials
Requirements
- Proven experience writing B2B or LinkedIn marketing copy
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn outreach or B2B prospecting (connection requests, cold messaging, follow-up)
- Excellent written English — clear, concise, and error-free
- Comfortable writing about technical or product-heavy topics in an accessible way
- Nice to have: experience with packaging, manufacturing, or CPG-adjacent industries
- Nice to have: experience building a brand's LinkedIn presence from scratch
Ideal Candidate
Someone who can take a new, still-developing brand and give it a clear, confident voice online while also being comfortable initiating conversations with strangers to generate business. This person is self-directed, comfortable owning a content calendar without heavy oversight, and skilled at translating dense product information into copy that actually gets read. They thrive in fast-paced, flexible, async-friendly environments.
