Position Summary Cooks at The Okoboji Store play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality preparation of food for our customers. Responsibilities The following responsibilities will be expected for this position: Maintain strict adherence to safe and hygienic food-handling practices in all food preparation and serving areas. Prep kitchen tools and equipment by ensuring they are washed and functioning properly.

Prepare a variety of ingredients with precision, considering the anticipated volume of the day. Follow recipes meticulously or adjust based on experience to achieve exceptional taste and quality. Manage multiple ticket orders, cooking each dish promptly and accurately, ensuring timely delivery to the expo.

Conduct thorough tests to guarantee food is cooked to perfection; using methods such as taste, smell, or pierce. Monitor and regulate cooking temperatures for ovens, fryers, and grills throughout service hours. Execute a comprehensive end-of-day kitchen cleanup, maintaining impeccable hygiene standards; cleaning grills, taking out trash cans, wrapping up and storing foods, washing the floors, etc.
