The role

iKONIC Lift Services is looking for a Lift Technician to join our London service team. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance, repairs and breakdown support.


You will manage a portfolio of lifts across London and surrounding counties, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and well maintained. This role offers the chance to build customer relationships, develop your technical skills and make a real impact within a trusted engineering team.


Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Completing planned maintenance visits in line with agreed service schedules.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and control system faults.
  • Responding to breakdowns and reactive call-outs.
  • Identifying recurring issues and recommending appropriate repairs or improvements.
  • Completing accurate service reports, including details of faults, actions taken and further works required.
  • Carrying out all work safely and following health and safety procedures.
  • Communicating professionally with customers and site representatives.
  • Managing your route efficiently and supporting neighbouring service areas when required.

The person

The successful Lift Technician will have:

  • Recognised lift engineering qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in lift maintenance, repairs and breakdown support.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
  • The ability to interpret technical information and electrical drawings.
  • A good understanding of lift operating and safety systems.
  • A full UK driving licence.


You will be someone who works safely, takes ownership of your work, communicates clearly and looks for the root cause of problems rather than just treating the symptoms.
