Licensed Stationary Engineer, Full time, Variable

Job Title Performs the operation, maintenance and minor repair of all the Central Plant equipment which includes but is not limited to: boilers, chillers, emergency generators, medical air compressors, vacuum pumps, water pumps, water softeners, cooling towers, automation systems, and all related equipment necessary to maintain the plant in good operating conditions. Job Requirements Education and Work Experience: High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred Experience in a healthcare setting: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: State-certified licensure as relevant to trade: Required Valid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required L.A. City Engineer: Required in Los Angeles County Facility Specific License/Certifications: Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required Department Specific License/Certifications: Engineer (LMSC): Required Essential Functions: Monitors equipment condition to ensure functioning within operating standards.

Schedules and performs minor maintenance to plant equipment. Coordinates work with other internal and external resources. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
