Job Description A Legal Affairs Manager will support Columbia Threadneedle Investments' registered investment companies, performing ongoing legal and regulatory activities, coordinating registration statements, prospectuses, SAIs, and other disclosure documents under the 1940 Act, Securities Act, and Exchange Act. The role also supports investment advisory business, collective investment trusts, SEC compliance, various Ameriprise entities, and corporate governance matters. Key Responsibilities Provide ongoing legal and regulatory support for registered investment companies.

Coordinate creation, updating, and filing of registration statement post-effective amendments, prospectuses, SAIs, and other disclosure documents required by the 1940 Act, Securities Act, and Exchange Act. Solicit and coordinate input to disclosure documents from business lines, outside counsel, and accountants. Provide legal and regulatory support for Columbia Threadneedle Investments’ investment advisory business, collective investment trusts, SEC regulation compliance, Ameriprise entities, and corporate governance matters.

Work closely with other Asset Management Legal members and various lines of business within the General Counsel’s Organization. Required Qualifications Associate’s degree plus paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree equivalent. Three to five years’ experience supporting an asset management business (preferred).

Ability to interpret, analyze and apply legal requirements applicable to registered investment companies. Mature, professional demeanor. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple ongoing assignments.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing and problem‑solving skills. Dedicated team player. Visa Sponsorship Applicants must have a valid work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States.

Base Pay and Benefits The estimated base salary for this role is $73,500–$129,100 per year. Compensation may vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Roles may be eligible for variable pay such as bonus, commissions, or long‑term incentives.
