The Opportunity

As a Leasing Director, you will play a critical leadership role in driving revenue performance across a portfolio of 12-16 WeWork buildings, leading large, complex office transactions while also managing and developing a high-performing team of Leasing Managers responsible for mid-market deals.

You’ll be the commercial heartbeat of your market—combining deep market insight, deal-making excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver both individual and team success. This is a highly strategic, high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about coaching others to succeed.

What You’ll Do

As a Leasing Director, you’ll lead from the front—as both a top-performing salesperson and a strategic leader of a high-impact team. This “player-coach” role blends direct deal execution with leadership, mentorship, and market strategy.

You’ll own large transactions, optimise portfolio performance, and build a culture of accountability and growth across your sales team. Your impact will be driven across three key areas: Strategic Sales Execution: - Own the full sales cycle for new and renewing members in 50+ person office spaces—from sourcing and pitching through to touring, negotiating, and contract execution.- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of large and upper mid-market leads.- Partner closely with the Broker Development team and the Accounts teams to unlock market demand and coordinate territory-wide outreach.- Use market and asset data to structure high-impact deals that align with WeWork’s underwriting and long-term financial goals.

Market, Portfolio & Product Expertise:- Maintain a deep understanding of your buildings' financial performance, occupancy strategy, and opportunities for optimization.- Champion WeWork’s product and platform value proposition, and ensure cross-functional collaboration across Community, Operations, and Facilities teams to deliver seamless member experiences.- Structure deals in line with asset strategies and portfolio positioning, maximising value across both renewals and new business.

Team Leadership & Development: - Lead and develop a team of Leasing Managers, holding them accountable for direct sales of <50p offices and individual pipeline management.- Ensure Leasing Managers are equipped with deep knowledge of their buildings, pricing, WeWork’s product, and business strategy.- Provide coaching, structured feedback, and ongoing development conversations with each team member—supporting performance, engagement, and career progression.- Create systems, tools, and operating rhythms to empower your team to deliver results autonomously and consistently.

What Success Looks Like- Business Acumen: You operate at the intersection of asset strategy, commercial value, and local market dynamics.- Organizational Agility: You know how to get things done—navigating stakeholders, internal systems, and cross-functional teams to move deals forward.- Transactional Excellence: You execute with speed and precision, structuring smart deals and shortening the sales cycle.- Leadership & Development: You bring out the best in your team—delegating well, coaching proactively, and building a strong internal bench.- Priority Setting: You stay focused on what matters most, eliminate distractions, and translate business goals into clear, executable plans.- Peer Relationships: You’re a trusted partner across the business, able to advocate for your market while remaining collaborative and constructive.- Resilience & Patience: You operate with clarity even in complexity, balancing urgency with long-term thinking and composure

About You- 5-7 years of full-cycle, quota-carrying sales experience, including 2+ years managing sales teams.- A track record of closing large, complex deals with C-level stakeholders or enterprise clients.- Strong knowledge of the local market, with a preference for someone with established broker relationships.- Commercial real estate experience is strongly preferred.- Fluency with Salesforce and sales analytics tools; comfortable making data-d
