Learning & Development Manager West Yorkshire Up to Β£70,000 A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to join a growing healthcare organisation in a pivotal leadership role focused on transforming training, induction, and colleague development across the business. This is a highly visible position with the opportunity to shape the future of learning and development within a multi-site organisation that is investing heavily in its people strategy, leadership pathways, and long-term workforce development. The successful candidate will lead and develop the existing training function while redesigning the overall colleague learning journey β from onboarding and induction through to leadership development and career progression.
There are also exciting long-term plans to create an internal leadership and development academy, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building modern, scalable L&D frameworks that genuinely improve colleague engagement and retention. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the existing Learning & Development team Oversee a growing internal training function across multiple services Redesign and enhance the induction and onboarding experience Create engaging development pathways for colleagues and future leaders Support the development of a group-wide leadership academy Review and modernise mandatory training delivery models Conduct cost-benefit analysis around online versus face-to-face training Improve training compliance, engagement, and overall learning outcomes Build scalable learning frameworks aligned with organisational growth Work closely with operational leadership teams to identify development needs Requirements Proven experience in a senior Learning & Development or Training leadership role Experience designing and implementing L&D strategies within multi-site organisations Strong understanding of blended learning approaches and training delivery methods Experience improving induction, leadership development, and colleague engagement Commercially aware with the ability to balance quality and efficiency Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Healthcare, social care, or similarly regulated sector experience would be advantageous Whatβs On Offer Salary up to Β£70,000 Opportunity to shape a growing L&D function from a strategic level Significant autonomy and long-term progression opportunities Involvement in major organisational development projects Office-based role within the Leeds area For a confidential discussion or further information, please apply today or reach out to Ben Watkins at Aiyara Partners on [email protected]
